Job Description
Role: Senior Accountant (Direct Hire)
Location: Charlotte, NC ( W. Morehead St.)
Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 / year base salary + 10% bonus opportunity
Benefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.
Partner with the Controller to lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including financial statement preparation and reporting.
Own key accounting processes, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and audit support while ensuring GAAP compliance.
Act as a senior resource and mentor to junior accountants, bringing an ownership mentality and leadership presence.
Collaborate across departments to improve accounting processes, reporting, and operational efficiency in a largely manual environment.
Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for leadership and corporate stakeholders.
Ideal for an experienced accountant seeking an assistant controller-type role with growth potential and a clear path for advancement .
